Plenty of owners on here and maybe they can answer my question - wasn't this a production run for GC only? I know they don't make them anymore, but it wouldn't be hard to find one used, right?

No, they're not GC special order, I got this from L&M Canada. They all come in 50's neck, no more 60's neck, they're discontinued.

This is my 2nd LP Faded, I exchanged the 1st one, which IMO it had a bad neck and setup. But this one got the low action as I always wanted, and the FLAME is much better than the old one.

P.S: I had to do the Intonation setup but that's it, no need Neck's Trust Rod adjustment!! NO FRET BUZZ at all!!

I'm adding this one to the list of guitars I shoulda never sold. She was a beauty, but the bridge pup was too shrill. However, this was the guitar that spawned my love for the satin finish lesters. No more gummy necks.:slash:

Yes. I've talked to Gibson on a couple of occasions and they are still available, but only with a '50s neck.

Supposed to be a Honey Burst, but in person It looked more like a light tobacco Burst.

Here's my '05 faded. It's a fantastic guitar. The Burstbucker Pro pickups sounds amazing!

    Thx Jim!

It sounds the same as previous, but it got the low action as I always wanted from right out of the box, 1.4mm on high E and 2mm on low E, Perfect!! and no fret buzz at all.

Even the cashier at L&M said this flame is MUCH better than the old one, although this one is not as gorgeous as 2manyguitars has though, but LOVE it so much now.

If I photograph mine from the top (headstock) down, my top looks similar to yours except you've got more flame by the pick-up selector/cutaway. It all depends how you shoot it. I've got other photos that show almost no flame, but of course I didn't post those.

Also, the Virtuoso cleaner/polish really enhances whatever flame you do have, and brings out some you didn't know was there.

Yea, I wish I had time to do the polish, but I'm not a patience guy for doing this stuff, so might be happy with the satin color now.

But your flame (old & new) on your faded, are the best!!

Here's my HB after a little polish. It's got a set of Will's HVTP's in it.
