Awesome. There is a longer video, they did four songs. Looks like everyone had a good time, all for a good cause. It takes me back to when I was eleven years old. Very good stuff.

Never understood why people have to hate on them so much. Gene's a smart guy, and fun to watch. I don't see the problem.

It was great seeing them together again. Gene and Ace were also writing songs together recently for Ace's upcoming album.

First it was Paul and Ace collaborating. Now it's Gene and Ace.

The stars are aligning. I'm a casual listener of KISS at best but I'd see them in a heartbeat with Ace onboard.

If Gene played with Ace, he thinks he's getting an advantage for himself in doing so.
Ace's "cult" has grown enough that Gene wants to be "associated" with him.
If Gene thought there was nothing for Gene in that, he wouldn't even say "Hi!" to Ace.
Sad but true. Gene first, charity second.

his, "That's why we have Gentiles to do the dirty work for us", comment didn't win him any fans.

I'm in the "he can f**k off and die" camp, myself.

Ace in the old days (old videos I've seen) seemed like a lot of fun.

    Exactly!

Gene Simmons is a walking stereotype. The worst part is, he's proud of it.

Naw, I think it was for the benefit of the charity. Gene, and Paul and Peter, are already associated with Ace. I watched the pressers and heard some behind the scene talk about Gene and Ace at the charity, and it does seem that raising money was Gene's priority.

Now I wouldn't be surprised to see Ace, Paul and Gene to show up at each other's solo shows as they seem to be getting along these days, to the point where Gene was at Ace's house writing songs.

Gene is silly. Ace is a JERKO- I saw him "ignore" a crippled kid -IN A WHEELCHAIR-at his solo show at The Cellblock in 1993. I still like Old Kiss.

I was there… Gene's band was really great. They can handle just about anything. Except maybe an a-rythmic Ace Frehley.

Ace wasn't very good. In fact, he was pretty bad. Bad enough so that the FOH guy buried him in the mix. BURIED him….only brought him up for solos. Which not only sounded shrill but were even less coherent and more sloppy than his spoken words.

And I love Ace… but he had too much of something before hitting the stage. Ace screwing up the intro to Cold Gin pretty much put an end to any hopes of Ace rejoining Kiss.

And Gene? King of the dickbags. Autocratic, demeaning, quick tempered and completely inappropriate. His playing was definitely the weak link in the band but his voice sounded decent. so that's something. Sadly the minor league "stadium" wasn't even 1/3 full.

I'm glad I went… we had a good time and seeing Ace and Gene was totally fun… but you're absolutely kidding yourself if you think it was good.
