In addition to the "Artist Proof", I'd love one of the amps, especially the 20 Watt Marshall.
Hey! What happened to this state-of-the art thread? I love this thread, a golden addition to MLP
I know I'm a day late, but R.I.P. R.W.G.M.
i think i posted this before...but i dont think anyone minds if it gets posted again...he kills it here
I know I don't.
Just stumbled onto these:
Hadn't seen those before.
re-post but who cares....
this is the best 40 minutes of guitar playing for anyone that never heard of Gary Moore and for those who can listen to it daily and it never gets old....show me someone who can squeeze more tone from wood than these 40 minutes provide..i would welcome it honestly
who will carry the torch...jb has it for now but who else is out there? years back there were a half dozen alive, sadly that list has diminished quite a bit
watching the last gig...
how can you not respect someone who after all the years still had the passion to push strings and honestly enjoy it until the end...
No complaints from me that's for sure.
I started a similar Thread a while back about Frampton, Beck, Clapton and Page and who's going to carry the torch. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great players out there, but to be honest, I don't think there's anyone out there that can?
Look-up "Tone" in the dictionary and they'll be a picture of Gary.
Gary and B.B. playing "Since I Met You Baby" is priceless!
Woa 2009.....its been a while.
Not been on here for years.. Recently went through some shit just before Christmas etc but have now started to play guitar again after a 3 or 4 year hiatus and where did I go back to? Right where I left off, Gary Moore. Them finger ends are slowly hardening up.
Ive still and always will have the blues.
I had a dream solo...
Never fails to induce the ole goosebumps!!! I have seen this vid so many times, but, this is the first time I noticed that Gary busted a string.
Ahhhh, Gary Moore, who Joe Bonamassa wants to be when he grows up.
In that case Joe will never grow up. Joe is good but he's not on Gary's level.
what happened to all the links? they get disabled?
i went back and fixed a few of mine...wassup wif dat?
Yeah, I finally saw it this time too. Don't know why I've missed it in the past, it was right there!
The links never mapped over when Alex updated the site. I've fixed some of mine as well in other Threads. Might have to pursue this one too to see if any need to be updated.
