That one caught my eye too. I would be nicer if it was a "real" TV yellow.

I love this thing! When I seen the concert of him playing it a while ago I loved it on first sight! Wasn’t expecting to see it as a Signature tho... wonder how much it will be.. I’m in Canada so I’m expecting probably a hefty price tag lol

Lovely SG. He's just done everything right here. Deep bevels. Small pickguard. ABR1 bridge. 24 frets is a bonus. Unique with 3 P90s so it's not just a duplicate of a whole bunch of other SGs. This is a total win.

Edit: and checking out a few live pics, it does seem to be TV yellow. I think Gibson's product pics are a bit washed out colour-wise.

Well, if you sincerey want us to try to counter your GAS on this one, I'll give it a shot (for which I will likely get flamed):
-- don't like the new TV Yellow
-- 24 frets takes the weakest part of the SG and makes it weaker
-- prefer HBs on an SG
-- don't care for Gary Clark all that much (surprisingly boring for someone who plays that loud)
Does that help? (Truth be told, lots of people will love that guitar!)

I've come to the conclusion that Gary must love the sound from P90s.

    Thanks, that helps a little.
I will hopefully get one someday, If I come across a good deal.
I'm at the point now that I'll only buy if its a steal.

    Lol.
-- in other pics, it's clearly standard TV Yellow
-- Adding an inch to the fretboard that rides on top of the body makes it weaker how exactly?
-- Your preference is your own, for sure
-- I wasn't the biggest Les Paul fan. Neither, I'd imagine is Slash. Or Peter Green. Or...

Love the look. I don't like slim taper necks. Is there ever a fat neck SG, like a '58? Havn't tried a P90 with a slug magnet. I would likely want to put aftermarket P90s in.

They came out as the new Les Paul around 1961. Slim taper came about around 1960 from what I understand. Others who know more can shime in. The newer guitars all have thicker necks now I notice in many cases even by Fender, etc.

That thing is pretty hot. I wonder how they will do the switching.
