Looking forward to this show. I have a G3 DVD with Satch, Vai and Yngvie, so I kinda know what to expect.
Great seats and I'm sure we will be blown away.

I've got one of the G3 cd's with Eric Johnson and Vai. Seems like I may have a DVD of one of the shows.

I'd like to see Phil Collen in this setting. I like Phil's playing as well as Petruci. Some would say that is sacrilege but that is me.

Well, the show last night was pretty awesome! 4 hours of guitar shredding. Phil opened the show with a blues themed set...

John just blew me away and melted my face!!

    Joe was outstanding..

    Then all 3 came out..

    Not my vids btw.

I was not that impressed by Phils tone and playing in this type of setting. I like his style in Def Lep. but his tone thru a Blackstar Stack was weak sounding.
Johns tone thru a twin Mesa set up was kick ass!! Face melting to say the least!!
Joe had 3 Marshalls, but I saw only 1 lit up but he sounded ..well.. like you expect Joe to sound..

Overall, it was a killer show as I haven't seen anything like it before, but 4 hours of in your face, take that, and you can't do this was pretty basdass!!
