I don't know how to shred, so can I still count my JEM?
I can't/won't shred either, but I really like the Ibanez design. I had one of the first floral Jems in the late 80's but stupidly sold it.
Here's my 2000 RG470. Already had a Seymour Duncan Jazz and JB installed when I bought it. The original trem was shot so it got a Gotoh replacement. Also added a dark smoke pickguard to make the top pop a bit more. Colour is New Penny.
'98 Carvin DC400 and '09 USA Charvel SoCal
I always wanted a Carvin, and I've always told myself that it would be my next guitar. I am such a liar!!!!! As long as there is a Craigslist, eBay, and Reverb that probably will never happen
I got mine two days ago so it's never too late for you to replace it
My Carvin JB24 and I have a JB200 coming in about 9 weeks.
I can't like that Jason Becker enough!!!!!
Mine doesn't go full shred as I have no whammy bar. Still a fun guitar. The wood finish keeps it from going full shred-age as well.
Oh please, mine has flowers for gosh sakes!
Nothing says shred like a monkey grip.
I rest my case.
Thanks! Too bad we can't "like" anything right now.
This JB really does play like a dream, it's so fun to play.
Used DC400s come up for sale from time to time.
I want the whole Carvin experience. I want to go to the website, pick each piece, part, color, with painstaking attention to detail and even some second thoughts on EVERYTHING. I want to create a Carvin, not buy someone else's Carvin.
That right there is how you get a LIKE!
Here's one of mine... recently signed by the master himself
My first selfbuilt guitar... still a great shredder:
My latest non-trem shredder:
I agree and it was a great experience for me. If you are lucky you can even get a glimpse of your guitar before it ships in their pics of the day one their facebook page. Since the company split into two separate companies and became Kiesel/Carvin Guitars they have stepped up their game even more.
