2014 Gibson Les Paul Collector's Choice #28 Montrose STP Burst

I've had this guitar for just a few months and have absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I need to downgrade in order to fund another purchase that I recently made. I'm also listing a couple of other items on Reverb so if they sell first I'll keep the CC#28.

The guitar is in excellent condition complete with COA, original case and all case candy. The finish is absolutely beautiful and it was aged by Gibson to look like the Ronnie Montrose STP burst (the aging is fantastic). It comes loaded with the original custombuckers and it sounds superb.

CC #28 is an R8 but the neck is close to R9 specs at .89" at the first fret and 1.00" at the 12th. The weight is very comfortable at 8.64 lbs.

Everything on the guitar is stock except I replaced the knobs with Retrospecs and the pickguard is a lightly aged CreamTone. I have the original knobs/pickguard that came on the guitar that I could swap out if the buyer prefers. The pictures below show the Retrospec knobs and the original pickguard.

Price is $5,500 and I'll cover the Paypal fees and insured shipping (continental US only please). In regards to trade options I am only interested in an R8 + cash. Flame isn't a priority so I'd be just as happy with a nice grainy plaintop. I would prefer a lemonburst but I'm open to other finishes so let me know what you've got.

In regards to trades, while lemonbursts are my favorite I am interested in other finishes as well. I really like bourbon burst and ice tea tops as well as cherry.

I would also consider trades for an R0/G0 or R9. The R9 would have to be on the lower end of the price spectrum though.

Adding a couple of cellphone pics that I took before I put the pickguard back on (with the original knobs). There's a nice red shadow back behind the pickguard and down at the bottom of the guitar. Click on the white bars above the pictures to zoom in and see everything in nice detail.

Thanks for the comments and the inquiries on the guitar everyone. I'm going to hang on to this one for now and move something else instead.
