Early cyber Monday bump. Now on ebay.
I've run many different (and very expensive) pickups through my LP's and one of my absolute faves were JB's "signature" pickups. I bet your guitar sounds incredible.
Agreed. I have an extra set I have hung on to cause I like them so much. Just nothing to put them in.
I don't think my wife would go with me to a music convention... Did your wife think it was cool to meet Joe B?
Joe B LP Bump!
Mine did. Met him last Friday night.
It was at a meet and greet preshow. She loves Joe. She's been with me 4 times to see him in concert. I don't think she was out of her mind excited to meet him, but thoughtit was cool and they chatted. She was holding my Fuzz Pedal for him to sign and he commented "I'm just going to guess that belongs to your husband"...........She responded that she had no idea what the hell it was. He then grabbed a picture off the table and signed it for her since I had only brought music stuff for him to sign for me.
I married a molecular biologist. I think she'd be excited to meet some scientist... but she likes Jimmy Buffet, Tom Petty and John Mellencamp so I'll keep her.
My wife would have asked Joe B how much he thought I spent on the pedal. I would hope Joe would tell her "oh, about twenty five bucks"... brothers gotta look out for each other.
Good luck selling that awesome JB Les Paul! Killer pickups in that thing.
How do you get into those meet and greets? I've gone to a lot of shows, including seeing Joe B a few times, but I've never met the musicians unless it's at a really small venue and they happen to just be hanging out at the bar. Do you have to buy separate tickets for that or something? Also that guitar looks amazing and if I was in the market for a goldtop I would strongly consider it. GLWS man.
There's a few ways. I got my tickets from a pbs special. Included 2 front row seats and the meet and greet. 2nd is sign up for the mailing list on his website. They offer certain items such as numbered lithographs and what not that come with the 2 front rows and meet and greet tickets. I've never seen the meet and greets sold separately or part of anything else besides these 2 ways. It is expensive though. Probably 500 bucks for the litho, 2 concert tix and meet and greet.
Thanks for the info man.
Would also trade for custom shop clapton Strat in EC Grey. The limited run from 2010 only.
Got a Reverb offer on this. Would rather see it go to someone on the forum. Final price of $2400 Shipped PPG or I'll accept the Reverb offer or maybe just keep it since I already got what I wanted which was my reason for selling.
Can't believe this is still here! Just the fact that it's signed gives it an extra cool factor....wish I had the cash. GLWS
I saw Joe in October & he was fantastic
