Alright folks - the purge of all my non-vintage guitars is happening. Here is one of the BEST modern Jazzmasters you can get your hands on. It plays better than my '65 or '66 and has been my main recording guitar over the last 8 months. Other than that it has never been gigged. It's setup better than any Jazzmaster I have ever played with the Mastery bridge resting flat on the body. Plays like butter. Resonant as anything you've ever strummed. I've got way over 2k in this, and I am confident this will blow any custom shop Fender out of the water. It's super light weight and sounds fantastic. I've owned several new and vintage JM's, and this is among the best of the best (beat my AV65 out). I really can't overstate how upset I am to be moving it, but I am after my dream vintage guitar and everything that is non-essential must go... It was put together and tweaked by my very talented guitar tech who knows JM's like the back of his hand. I'll let the specs do the talking... Neck: (Around $700.00)The neck is STELLAR. Super flamey and nice and fat, unlike most Jazzmaster necks. Its been finished by MJT. Feels and looks beautiful. It sounds amazing with the maple neck. It's a little more "tele" than my other Jazzmasters. I found this body from Guitar Mill. Its super accurate AND incredibly light at 3 pound, 2 ounces. MJT did a wonderfully tasteful black all nitro finish that is lightly aged. The body is super, super resonant. Electronics: (Around $400.00) Rothstein Wiring Harness Pickup Wizard Vintage Style Pickups Bridge: (Around $200.00) Mastery. The best of the best! Tremolo: (Around $200.00)Pre-CBS Fender. No arm, though any American arm would fit. Plastics: ($100.00) NOS 70's witch hat knobs Spitfire Pickguard Tuners: This has a set of ultra rare Grover tuners on it that appeared on some Fender coronados and Jazzmasters during the 60's. They work so much better than the F style tuners or even the Klusons of the period... I searched for a set of these for years. I paid nearly $200.00 for these. They rock and look insane. No case, but I'm experienced packing guitars and have even sent a '62 JM with no case... Price is $1,500 PPG, Free shipping CONUS ONLY! Local pickup in Chicago, IL.
