This one hurts. My favorite historic I've had. But it has to go. If I told you why, it would sound like a lame sob story so I won't.

This one is from Wildwood, gloss and all original, really nice top for an R8, and has a neck size I chased for a long time. It's .87 at the first and .95 at the 12th. 59 burst sort of average, nothing at all like all the .90-1.0 R8s and R9s out there. It's a beefy medium neck -- notably bigger than the R0 V2 size and right in that lovely sweet zone. Plays great with low action, sounds great, looks great.

She weighs 8.6 pounds, has been played of course but no nicks, dings, etc. Case candy and historic hardshell case included. I will ship in the ConUS only for $3,195, insured shipping and PayPal included.

There is an outside chance I would do a down trade for a USA LP, but I need a sizeable chunk of cash coming my way. Thanks for looking.

    Thanks!

Couple things to add for interested parties -- there is normal binding bleed from being played. And I do have more pics available to email. Just ask.

What my tempt me in a trade down scenario is a Standard in the mid 8 pound range or an outlier Traditional on the light end of the spectrum and without a huge neck ...

Yeah, just that a neck of these dimensions and carve is pretty hard to find on an R8, or R9 for that matter. Though it is very close to the new, more accurate 59 carve they are using on the new models.

Thanks. I guess the market now dictates that this one stays with me. I am not the least bit sad about that, either ... :)
