Selling a rare Limited Run 2012 Gibson 1959 Dot Reissue Custom Shop ES-335 in Pelham Blue gloss. This is one of 25 total that were made and this one is number 5 of 25. This was made in the Gibson Nashville Custom Shop. Includes custom shop case, COA and paperwork as pictured. The pickups had been changed out previously, but a newer set of Gibson Burstbuckers 1 and 2 are currently installed in the neck and bridge position. Never gigged and only played at home. Overall it’s in really good condition. Only a few minor issues to note: It had a Vibramate and a Bigsby B7 on it previously, which has since been removed. The felt pads underneath the Vibramate adapter plate reacted with the nitro finish, and left two very faint circular impressions in the finish below the tailpiece. They are not very noticeable, but they’re there, if you catch it in the right light. Also, the rear strap button screw broke off in the body and has since been removed and the hole has been glued, doweled and touched up. The strap button covers this up, but it’s there underneath. Slight impression from the Bigsby B7 there as well pictured. It has a pretty full/chunky neck, similar to an early R8 neck. Neck measures: 1st fret - .925” 12th fret - 1.026” Weighs 8 lbs., 14 ounces. Sold on reverb.
