Where is this bed that all these guitars hide under? Absolutely gorgeous.

actually, I'd do that if the idea was to resell the guitar at a predetermined time period for a profit and the profit then distributed among the share owners. I'd even be willing to allow the original share money go toward another investment guitar.

heck I'd even let Alex hold it until it sold..he's apparently been doing a great job of holding it anyway.

at least 39 new people could say they own a real vintage 50s Les Paul.:laugh2:

Alex, that's just about as good as it can get for Gold Tops.

    Simply Amazing!!

A '56 Gold Top is on my bucket list, and that one just blows me away.

Congrats on having such a beauty! :applause:

you know, you should just keep it and charge people $100/hr to play it. you would make a lot more in the end.

I have a 1957 special and a 1955 goldtop, they are very different sounding instruments. The special is much more round and mellow sounding with a funky almost out of phase quirk to the sound; while the goldtop is much more aggressive and brighter and bigger and more dynamic. Its not a subtle difference at all. I love both & the necks are relatively similar in feel.

No, I truly understand that they are different tones. I was just stating which one should I buy first. I want them both and I will get them somehow. I have the cash now !!!
