Selling only to fund another otherwise this would NOT be for sale...

Absolutely NO trades unless it's another old wood Gibson and the right type. I could add cash. Looking for a issues 52-54 goldtop.

Email or pm for details and/or any additional pics, thanks.

    $2800.00 + shipping/pp

    Call me crazy....again.:wow:

$2800.00 or trade(trade value 3K)for other Gibsons. Vintage or Historic...thanks!

Clean examples are commanding 6-8K. Save a ton. This one is as mojo'd as it gets people.

    Where are you located?

Any past breaks or damages apart from messing with the bridge?

Can we somehow smuggle it to Europe? I hate import duties. Good deal on this awsome guitar. Love the worn look

    I'm located in Michigan.

Due to Gibson's recent issue with the feds, I will not ship outside of the USA.

56 year old mahogany and brazilian rosewood....can't take the chance.

    Several questions from people...

Yes it has the original finish that's checked to death from 56 years of playing.

No, it has no neck or headstock breaks other than what looks like a old repair to reglue an ear in the middle picture. The serial number is also VERY visible.

The truss rod works fine, the intonation and action are fantastic!

It's amazing what people expect for 2800 bucks, lol.

If your looking for total originality and perfection, go to ebay and pay 6-8K.

    Bump!

    Looks perfect to me.

Not that I can afford it, but is the hardware original?

Tuners are aftermarket, bridge is Allparts, input jack is original(I think), truss rod cover is original. The P90, harness, pots and cap are period correct 1955 parts(not just 50's).

This should have been gone LONG ago. Must be a sign to keep it.

Please pm me if you have any other questions. It's not fair for me to be bumping this up everytime someone has a question...thanks!

And John(SKF), it plays WAY better than it looks. The perverbial BUTTAH!

I can't see shipping out of the country being a concern... 1. US customs looks at stuff coming into the country, not stuff that leaves the country; 2. No way of knowing there is a "Gibson" brand guitar inside the box without opening it, and without the scent of cocaine or plastic explosives, the box ain't getting opened; 3. The Gibson fiasco is just a smokescreen by Henry J. to try and cover up the fact that he is probably doing something wrong (no other guitar manufacturers are standing up and hollering); 4. Once you get paid, the risk is on the buyer, not you - if they want to take the risk, that is their decision...

US Customs looks at things going both ways...just saying.
