Just a heads up. After seeing all of this, if I'm ever financially able to afford a replica, I know where I'm going.

I get it. Thats a lot of extra work making vids. As if building the guitars wasnt enough. I definitely appreciate the time you put into it.

Nice to meet your mom, too :)

Holy crap! How did I miss this last night?!?! Another great video. Great information about the binding, that never really gets talked about.

These great vids must cost a lot of time to prepare, shoot and edit. But I imagine they raise your profile and bring you more business. Immaculate work!

Very cool Freddy! Were there any instances where you would not have put a hook on the cabinet scraper when you used it in that video? Like maybe when prepping the tenon for final glueing and you don't want it to be too aggressive?

Glad you liked that bit. That shaping of the neck edge is one of the first things I notice in any guitar.

Are you calling me a DIva? I can't hit a hi C and I need to pack on a few more pounds yet :applause:

No the hook was on the scraper for prepping the tenon. You can control how aggressive the cut with the pressure. Where I don't want a hook is for plastic, or very fine scraping....final smoothing type action.

Thanks again for this wonderful painfully patient tutorial to benefit all the hacks likes me. I spent 3 hours yesterday morning with my headphones on watching the series to date. My wife was pissed!
I loved seeing your Mom lend a hand and listening to you Dad's stories. They remind me of my Polish and Yugo side of my family there in Hamilton. Keep 'em coming.

Apologies if this was just an annoying teaser. But I really was excited to see that pore filler colour come to life with a coat of lacquer...I had to post it! I spent a lot of time mixing and testing pigments into the pore filler to get the right colour.

Certainly no apologies necessary, @Freddy G, not only a great teaser vid, but clearly show your workflow and economy of motion. You were only in the booth about a minute!!

(But if I were to ask for more, it would be a few close ups so we can see the pore filler ;) )

    Thanks always! :cheers2:
