    for those who never heard this man play, do your ears a favor...

    the late 70's to a recent 12 hour DVD to be released soon or maybe has

    frank killed it in the 70's and kills it today...live or the studio

    i hate to rate, but he is up there with the greatest, no question

    the man is a monster player, sings his ass off also, the whole package

    click any youtube vid and you will be stunned

    hope life is good for him north of the border ...thank you frank for all your work :yesway:

    A buddy of mine had Strange Dreams. Didn't change my ilfe, but it was sure better than the Nugent and KISS I had been listening to.

    this and some of his early live work was first thing i heard...well worth a listen

    VERY underrated. Just never seemed to break big. Dude is phenomenal.

    I had heard of him but never listened to him before the first post in this thread. Dude can rip it up. One of the guys I work with had mentioned him before and that is the only reason I had ever heard of him.

    The thing I respect the most about players like Marino is their ability to master many styles and then seamlessly integrate and jump between those styles from bar to bar, never mind song to song.

    Shame he never received the recognition he deserved.

    I saw him a few times at friend`s insistence. Great player for sure but every time I saw him it was half Hendrix covers. And I`m that guy you heard about that hates Hendrix. Much respect, just can`t listen to him.
