That is an amaizing looking guitar. I can't listen to the mp3 here at the office, but I will tonight.

Sorry I'm not playing the blues or something, I think my genre is a little obscure for most of you, haha. But I gotta say these Skatterbrane pickups impress me, they're so articulate without being harsh. I was a little tiny bit afraid that relatively low output humbuckers would leave me desiring more, but I'm glad to be proven wrong in this case.

And yes LN60, I literally cut my hair and got a job. :)

Astonishing guitar... too bad about the job;)

It's not a bad idea at all to make Les Pauls thinner. I know that this one is chambered, but I think in general shaving some depth out of the mahogany is preferable to weight relief or chambering.

So speaking of which, what does it weigh? (unless I missed that).

The finish is great. As people have mentioned, it really looks like a VOS top.

Really excellent. You have a great style and the recording sounds wonderful as well as the guitar!

I agree, it's too bad the Axcess Standard (stoptail/ABR version) isn't marketed much, as it's arguably one of the more playable Les Pauls available today, with its belly cut and shaved heel.

I actually haven't weighed it. I'll have to borrow my dad's scale and get that done, and weigh my other Les Pauls at the same time.

    And thanks decoy!

Bought an A.V.H. pickguard from Dave Johnson. Fits great and has a lovely creme shade that matches the pickup bobbins and poker chip.
