Just listed this on Ebay if anyone is interested. Also available in the shop at www.windycityguitars.com This 2005 Gibson Les Paul was refinished to mirror Slash's first signature Les Paul from 1990. In the last picture, it's the guitar on the far right. The guitar has minimal wear, as seen in the photos. The guitar has a custom red nitrocellulose lacquer finish, black nitro back and neck, custom made truss rod cover, and custom yellow aged binding. The wiring harness is the original Gibson harness and all hardware is Gibson. The pickups have been changed to Seymour Duncan Slash Alnico 2's. The guitar has a slim 60's neck just like Slash's and it has the traditional weight relief, no chambered body. It's heavy! Serial # 019250421 Original Gibson hardshell case and documentation. The following is from Slashparadise.com Notes: This is the very first Gibson Les Paul made only for Slash, no production release. Slash ordered these four guitars after attending a NAMM show and seeing a slim-necked '59 replica made by J.T. Riboloff of the Gibson Custom Shop. The all-black hardware and screaming yellow binding were his ideas. Other personalized features include Dunlop 6100 jumbo frets and a "stripped" look with no pickup covers or pickguard. Of the four Les Pauls Riboloff made for Slash, three are still in his possession. The fourth, the one being auctioned, he traded for another guitar in the Gibson vault.
