    I would have tried to keep the afterburn look as much as posible (playable and confortable). The preburn look was also stunning

    The important thing is your ok.

    You make a good point. Everyone should locate the main gas shut off. If it doesn’t have a handle, it’s worth keeping a vice grip pliers on it. It should be by the meter on the black pipe.

    Man I wish you the best of luck breathing life back into it. Throw some clear coat over that burn and rock it!!!

    As others have said, the important thing is you're okay. But that sucks. Every guitar owner's nightmare. I hope some are fixable.
