I’ve been using the Katana head at rehearsal about a month now & used it for the first time at a gig last night. I set up 4 presets in Tone Studio & used the 50w setting through a 1x12 homemade cab. Run the line-out to the PA. I use the Roland GA-FC foot controller. Added a mini wah & a TU-3 tuner. Held it’s own & sounded great. No problem being heard. (5 piece – drums / bass/ keys / vocal / guitar)

It’s nice just plugging in, hit a preset, set the volume & you’re ready to go. I’m having a 2x12 cab made so looking forward to how it will sound through that.

Kool, I keep hearing great things about these amps.

I think I am getting a 100 to go along with the 50 I have.

That sounded excellent for a better recording than a phone. With a phone, just wow.
Cut through great. FAT with clarity, and great low end rumble and growl. :thumb:

Thanks everyone. That's what I was trying to accomplish, that mean growl that just fills the room & cleans up w/ the vol knob. Seemed to work pretty good here even though we were outside.

Couple more vids. Different angle & camera (iPhone). Freakin' paparazzi :D
I don't like watching / listening myself but it's a great learning tool. Plenty of things to correct, spice up, tone down, etc.

^^^^^^ Dude I have heard many a tube amp sounding worse live. That flat just works. Lead tone was nice too.
