does someone have a build thread on a thru neck firebird. if not, which plans are the best to get? I've seen some, but most everything i've seen are set necks. trying to start something this fall. thanks. i tried the search and didn't seem to hit on anything, unless i overlooked it.

yeah I'm just finishing up a guitar and a neck for some friends then I'll be back on this one for myself. I've never done a neckthrough before and then needed to put the skunk stripe scarf joint, for no particular reason other than KnightroExpress's scarf jointed guitars looked so damn cool. Looking forward to your build as well. You may finish before me, so I may be getting some help from you! ;-)

    Cheers Peter.

you'll more than likely finish before i start. every day i find myself starting later, quitting earlier, and moving slower.....plus it's fixin to be my bass fishing season. :) besides, i'm gonna follow in your footsteps.

man, you ain't never lied!! one more piece of spanish cedar, and i think she'd divorce me. i'm cutting some up now to make a replacement old style sash window. sure hate to cut it up for that, but it pays some of the bills. the irony is, i bought all of it so that no one would cut it up and make doors and windows out of it...............

When I've got more money I'll relieve you of more of that cedar

I can't wait to get this first one done too, just looks and smells fantastic

i'm sure i'll have plenty. i love working with it except for it tastes so bitter. you can't seem to do anything from getting that taste in your mouth.
