The left one is for the JDM (Japan Domestic Market)
the right one is for Export
around 2009 FujiGen established the FGN brand for Export
    the models are mostly identical

    they are great guitars....

    Thank you Paruwi

I have also found some different model letters
FM DM AH MH HM ASM QM
. Maybe you also know what they mean. thinking it might be something with the top.

I have a gorgeous Expert FL/QM with Fujigen on the headstock. It is truly one of the finest guitars I have laid my hands on for playability, tone and looks. All of my FGN/Fujigen/History guitars are great.

I'm pretty sure I'm accurate with these:

    FM - Flame Maple Top
MH - All Mahogany Body (no maple top)
HM - Hard Maple Top (no flame and/or solid finish)
    QM - Quilt Maple Top
ASH - Ash Top (mahogany body)
DE - Dark Evolution - limited edition with a hard maple top, solid black or white finish and active pickups.

I'm not sure about the other model letters, I would just be guessing.

Beatiful guitar. Do these have a faster heel design like picture #1 would imply?

The fret ends on my LC20 are as round and as smooth as a ball as well.

There's a niche but very dedicated community with FGN, and when you look at the quality of every guitar they build under a microscope it's easy to see why.

Gladly we have a distributor here in Germany, the funny thing is, it's the former gibson distributor

They still work on their world-wide distribution-net

    http://www.fgnguitars.com/distributors/

they now have a distributor for the US
    http://fgnusa.com/

    lots of items on eBay,

    https://www.ebay.com/sch/Gitarren-Basse/3858/i.html?_from=R40&_sop=10&_nkw=fgn&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=2

just be careful with all those japanese brokers, who don't own what they sell....
Sellers on Ebay who DO NOT own the guitars they sell
