Hey guys, do you ever do just a drum track as the backing track and build upon that?
Your backing track selections are cool, for sure, but they dictate a root / key.
Just wondering if you guys try building on drums only?
Every contribution would be totally unique as a result.

Great results from all of you guys, none the less..... seriously good stuff. :thumb:
    I was just wondering.

Locked and Loaded (into ProTools with Amplitube running and my new Keeley GC-2 Compressor out in front)

Wish me luck on the creative juices, and bends, and the Toanz!

Hopefully I can come up with something respectable! :fingersx::fingersx::fingersx::fingersx::fingersx:

    Thank YOU!

    Interesting.
I'd love to hear the before and after with the drums.
Maybe you could post some of those sometime. :fingersx:

Apologies ...didn't intend on derailing this thread.
    I'm on MLP a few weeks a year....if that.
I would dig seeing just a drum backing track monthly thing like you guys have going here.

Keep up the great work, guys. Fantastic playing here. :thumb:

We started a thread like this over in the modeling forum. No one's posted in it since like Aug, but it has a lot of good stuff in it.

OK..Black Velvet Toasted Carmel..usually don't like sweet liquor but no sugar or carbs..and whiskey..a sugar baby's delight dessert..
Just put something quick..has some "scratching" old vinyl stuff..so i left it and I'll figure it out when I do something more creative..
1971 Les Paul Custom..in stereo (double mono) Pod and VAmp and M Audio M Track..just twisting knobs until I hear something.. Finally able to use my brass pick..instead of the 1.5 V Pick//
    Here ya go..
    Wish I was There..

All I can do for now..
    I am what I am..

Here's my first go at it. A couple flubs and my caffeine-starved fingers had some trouble with the timing, but it's a nice start. :laugh2:

First Part: Squier Strat and Monoprice Tube Combo
Second Part: Squier Strat and Mustang III

    Oh man.......

You guys are killing me! Setting the bar WAY up high! But killing me in a good way nonetheless.

DotStudio, I hope one of your names is David, first, middle, last, or at least your dog or cat! LOL You really nailed his essence to a T. :thumb:

I actually like the scratched vinyl sound. It adds a little something. Tasteful playing :thumb:

Some CRAZY good licks in there! :wow:

Nailed the tone, good job!
