maybe, maybe not. Let's see what the ending price is. Most bids hit the last few minutes.

I'm surprised at the number of BZ LPs shown up lately. I don't know if it's just dumb luck, the economic downturn or the mystery about the soon to be announced 09 R9 50th Anniversary LP. But there sure have been a lot of hot guitars on the market lately.

I got my BZ R9 this week off ebay and I'm not regretting it. Not a big fan of that particular finish though, looks like a weak triburst effort to me.

I personally hate that finish. What a waste of a Braz Paul!

I have very serious doubts about this auction.
Is the seller saying the serial number is 0 3127?

I'm not an expert on the braz - but the pics of that fretboard dont do much for me?
Am I missing something? I have been informed of the sound qualities you get from these,
but, IMO, that a pretty dull looking fretboard.

...I can't find the article from gibson which covers the 0 3120 to 0 3130 R0's.I know there are a couple in that range which are not braza.

the auction could be fugazi,as this one was for sale recently and I recognize the tuners, among other things.

    Unless I'm reading the S/N incorrectly, that's
my Serial Number, but that's not my guitar.
    Plain top?
    Dark Back?
    Tri-Burst?
I would have my doubts whatever the S/N.

    ...93???

I believe the Triburst in this auction is the older style finish. The black is in a teardrop style vs. the current Triburst has black as an outline.

I feel like we should all drive around in a Les Paul Mystery Machine, like on Scooby Doo, and bust all the scammers, Brazilian fakers, COA sellers, and the rest of the bastards that give these beautiful instruments an air of doubt. Sorry...I am just tired of people who would rather scam their brother than make an honest buck.

I have made contact with the seller, and have explained my position.
I see he has not taken down the Ebay listing, as of yet.

    Good job!

Since a buyer can't be left feedback anymore.......I feel like shill bidding him to $1,000,000......but then I'm lowering myself to his level......I still want to do it. :hmm:
