Im customising a Squier mini player ( short scale guitar ) .. and i just took out the cheap humbucker it came with .

Now i have a best buy gift card and need a humbucker .. theres a seller who has a Dimarzio super distortion DP100 .

but the Dimarzio code is DP100FBK ... with i believe to be F= F-spaced BK = Black

Now would a F-spaced Dimarzio fit in the cavity what was a regular humbucker before .

Ive heard that Seymour Duncan trembucker are wider and narrower then the regular version of the same pickup .

Is it the same for dimarzio Super distortion ??

Doesnt it matter if the pole pi├Ęces are not align perfectly .. if i take the Fspaced version .

I don't wanna spend money on a pickup when i get a free one with my gift card . But theres not much choice . The super distortion would be good .

Only the pole spacing is different.

    DiMarzio keeps other dimensions identical.

F space is the clue - F space is designed to line up with the string spacing on fender guitars.

I thought it was "floyd" trems that had the wider spacing?
