    Good Lord Almighty!!!! Ya think the hack job on the neck pickup cavity might have something to do with the weak neck joint?

    Yeah. They sure took the long way around on repairing that fiddle, tho. I'd sure love to restore that one.

    whats goofy is the toggle placement.... and it looks legit.... even with the backplate... interesting.

    It is legit, the earliest of the double cuts were made that way. They didn't make 'em that way long.
