    I gotta try this. What binding did you use for the body and neck, if you don't mind.

    Question, what wood filler did you use for the Mahogany? Thx.

    This can be from sunlight or to much heat on the surface of the body before the sealer coats have time to cure. "out gassing"

I'm from Chile and I need your help, I'm doing a les paul, but I am wrong, I have tools of all kinds, and I have the plans for the les paul Jan. 59 by John Catto .. and we need your help, please please please I beg you, I have 16 years and am a fan of the Gibson Les Paul 59 ', and seen their videos on youtube, very beautiful buildings of les paul, Please I need your help please please ... is that we speak different languages but I will do posiblee best to communicate with you, Help me, hopefully I hope I'll have to leave my email address and Facebook, hopefully hopefully help me, you made very beautiful guitar, Greeting and a hug from Chile ! and have a Happy New Year! 2011!

    :shock: Well, there's another 19 pages I have read through... Great thread... Thanks for the inspiration... This just fuels my obsession, as I sit in my office wishing it wasn't 17 degrees F out so I could continue my current projects in my unheated garage...

    Some beautiful places to visit in Chile, Scott . . . :thumb:

    Why not take the band with you, too :D

    Or how 'bout this: my brother goes with people from his church and community every year to Mexico and they build a couple houses each trip. You could take down some people and materials and build a couple LPs each summer . . . what do you think? :applause:

    no brazil ? i am sitting on about 50-60 50 year old old groeth brazilian fretboards. let me know when you build again, i guess i could donate 1..
