Ain't it great to be able to?
A lost art in today's throwaway culture.
I can't tell you how many things I've owned and even bought new, that were 80% of the way there to being perfect.

Most every thing I own has had my hands in there tweaking or modifying something!

Why, because I can, and no one else is going to do it as cheap or as good as I can.

    Plus there's the bragging rights.

Love the blank stare when you tell younger folks that you just fixed it yourself instead of throw it away and get a new one....

What, no morally questionable centerfolds on the wall?
C'mon, son, what kind of man-bench is that?
You better at least have some tunes blasting....

Sometimes the special sauce just needs a little more mustard...

Kind of. I had to push everything to the side to make room for cleaning and checking of home defense gear. In a hurricane or any other disaster situation, it is the days after the event that are usually the most dangerous.
