Is Gibson making a Custom Shop ES-339 for 2018 ?
If not, do you think they will in the near future ?
a quick search would seem to yield that the answer is no.
But eventually they will ?
well it depends on what you mean but custom shop guitar. the memphis custom shop builds the es-359 which is a 339 custom but is not a vos, historic, aged, ect... guitar. pretty much the same as a run of the mill lp custom that comes out of the custom shop.
from their website it doesnt look like they are in production this year.
your best bet would probably be to get a made to measure if you can afford it.
Get yourself one made in 2010-2012. They kind of went to shit after that.
Can't speak for another year outside of the 2012 339 that I own, but it is a fantastic guitar.
I had one around '10 or '11 that was a few years old at the time (would have to go back and look up the serial) that I would LOVE to have back.... coulda woulda shoulda, smh
I love my 2014 ES339,
I got an outstanding deal on a 339 from CME.
Used the make offer option and they took $1380.00
They call it a floor model but it is in fact brand new.
These deals wont last.
I have the same exact guitar only a 2009.
great feeling neck and nice electronics. I just wished it sustained a little better. It has nylon bridge saddles that I want to get switched out for brass.
