Any experience is appreciated. While not a Les Paul model, I have recently been seriously considering the Snow Falcon V. Admittedly, I have no idea who Brendon Small is, was just looking for an affordable V with some advanced options. My question lies in the fretboard. Any expeieriences helpful.
    Thank you.

I have to think the Gretsch company will have something to say about any other company's use of the name "Falcon" for a guitar.

I was expecting it to have a synthetic fingerboard, it says maple but must be painted by the way it looks.

I have a 2010 Jeff Waters V and that one has a phenolic board which is great for metal because it has less drag on your fingertips and pinch harmoics are easier.

Brendon Small is the creator of Metalocalypse, which was a toon on Adult Swim.

It's a funny show, and the Snow Falcon is the second guitar from that show, the first being the Thunderhorse Explorer.
