Reliving my childhood. Picked up an Olympic Double. Got a used one in 1968 just like this minus the vibrola arm and not in near as good condition for $75. My first electric guitar. It was okay then, but I wanted an SG Standard. I saw this recently and played it. Wow. It's fantastic.

Really enjoying this though I can see why many don't have the vibrola. It's a pain--keeps flopping around. Got to figure out a way to fix that without removing it. The squawk from the bridge pickup is lovely. Epiphone really had something with these guitars. My son has glommed on to it too--it's getting a lot of work here at the house. As requested, I've posted a few more pics. First one is taken with its Japanese niece.

    Aw Snap!!
Those are really cool. Been eyeing those lately. Never played one but the YT videos I've seen sound great! What's the nut width on yours and how do you like the neck?

1.625 inch. The neck isn't as slim as an SG, bit more heft and depth. It's quick, very comfortable.
