I like it!
Me too. But again, who the hell is Lee Malia?
yeah, i like it !
Holy sh...t I want this thing now! Couldn't care less about who this guy is, but the guitar is gorgeous!
Only thing...."Torrefied Composite" fingerboard?
That's how I was when I bought the LP version.
This looks sweet!
Whether you like the band or not (i don't) the spec on this Explorer is fantastic!
YEAH here it is.
Oh no...it has a signature on the headstock back. Deal-breaker for me.
Yeah, probably have to get this as I have the Les Paul version, and I love the Explorer shape... gotta have both. This will be the last one, I promise (ha ha).
How can you tell? I can't find a picture of the back of the headstock.
At the end of the video posted above..
Ah, I see it now; maybe cover it with electrical tape? OK, not really, but maybe you could remove it in some way?
These are showing up on Sweetwater now for pre-order.
Does the explorer balance well or is it neck heavy? I wonder because it has no top horn.
All Explorers I had in my hands so far were really nicely balanced.
Despite their odd shape explorers are super comfortable to play. Sitting they balance perfect on your leg and standing the way the strap locations are it makes it point the neck up at to me a perfect angle. They arent everyones cup of tea visually but anyone who says they are difficult to play probably hasnt played one.
Preordered mine! Can't wait to blast it through my Diezel.
They're supposed to start shipping in July, so any day now I'm interested to hear what you think after you've had some time with it
I think I'll wait for the Flying-V to come out.
I don't have one. Yet.
Damn LP's always win my GAS.
They released a sig model of his LP last year.
Another one so soon seems a bit much.
As of 7-28 these still aren't available; I'm going out on a limb and betting they don't make the July ship date (actually I'm really curious about these so I hope they become available soon).
