i know i shouldn't bump this thread, but its just irresistible
nut has been replace with a graphtech one, and the bridge is now a gold gotoh bridge(both now shown in the pics).
the EMG's were installed by me too
It wasn't mine, I was quoting Dizmal.
Nice guitar btw
I just joined the Alpine White Epi club.
My 14 year old dog who passed away last year was white/black and she was always near me when I played guitar so I bought this as a tribute to her. Plan on keeping it for the rest of my life.
Going to change the gold hardware to nickel sometime in the future and truly make it custom.
Reading through this thread, I'm glad someone else has spotted it but also slightly perplexed that only 1 person did!
Based on The Fake Epiphone thread II - the shape of the TRC seems wrong, the diamond shape inlay seems too small, the tuner washers seem too large and the logo is wrong (the 'h' is directly under the 'v' of the top of the headstock whereas it should be to the right of it)
I know the post is 2 years old - is there any more pictures?
RE: My above post - this is the axe in question from Page 2 of the thread....
seems to be a Korean
My boys with newly fitted EMG 81 and 85s.
Here is my Elite. Solid and heavy with pristine workmanship. Then again I only have a Lotus LP to compare it too. A bunch of other guitars but the only other LP I have is the Lotus, which is pretty decent.
Here's my antique white LP Custom! In the last pic you can see where I installed a Gibson 500T pickup. Sorry for so many pics!
This is my 2000 Epi LPC. Been playing it for 12 years now. Can you tell I love it? I've played the shit out of it! That's all gold hardware, folks.
C'mon! Anybody else?
Ok, here it is. (you'll probably call me a smartass but, it's a genuine White LP Custom)
Wife bought me this beauty back in 2008. Now it sports Gibson BB Pro's and all quality electrics.
A beautiful player and a definite keeper.
