This is a custom pro, slim taper, no case, rosewood board, probuckers. Not even close. :)

That's interesting the seller changed the pictures. But still has the same 55" info.

If anyone is interested in a "New" one, I just got off the phone with my Sweetwater rep. They have 2 up for viewing, and more that just arrived and are undergoing inspection. The 2 are relatively light, at 8lbs, 3oz & 8lbs, 6oz.

They did have one at 9lbs......:)

I had one, just left it go not too long ago, part of a deal for a 73 Fender Pro Reverb. It was a really nice guitar, and yup, the necks are fat on em'. I say get one if anyone is pondering it...

Just played one in the store nearby. Very nice instrument and the neck feels great - but I like fat necks!

I want one buffed to a shine with a staple neck pickup like God intended.

That is part of the "allure" of this model, which has had my interest since they were announced. Although I'm about to sell off many of my LP's, I figured this was a good time to grab one of these. I mean really, with 36 Mo. @ 0%, that's $23/Month. No brainer!

So, anyone interested in a JDM LQ Les Paul?, how about a duo of "Japan only" Les Paul models: Super Classic, and a '59 Standard? :)

How fat is this neck? Bigger than a LP Traditional?

Fatter and rounder than my R8 and my Trad too. It's the fatter neck I've in the arsenal, but I love it.

As for the gloss, the neck on mine is now shiny, because it will buff out while you play on it.

:hmm: Don't want shiny, might have to keep dulling mine. Mine's about '59 neck proportions, my Super Real's is a fat '58er. Luv both of 'em, + my Mint Collection ('59)
