All Epiphone Dots that I have tried - Korean, Chinese, Indonesian - have necks that I would describe as fat/rounded. (I typically prefer to play guitars with slim necks).

90% of the available Epis have a '60s slim taper' type neckshape
though it still can vary due to different sanding skills of the different employees in the different factories

You can't tell the neckshape by the serial#

    Hi,

Thank you for the usefull answers.
I thought that the serial number can attest of the year of production (in this case 2010).
And indeed the year can in some cases tell what is the neck profile, for instance the present production have this "fu..ing" slim taper neck ...
Me i am looking for a neck that is a bit fat ...

What about a more realistic answer ?
Depending on were you live, you sometimes have to order thing online, and you cannnot try it. It is sad, but it is what it is...

i've played 2 older dot's, and they both had a slim taper 60's
    neck type.

I haven't felt an Epi Dot or Epi 335 Pro whose neck I would describe at "fat" or "rounded". All have been of the 60s slim variety, with the typical Epi "D" shape to them.

I used to own a Dot which I bought new about three or four years ago. I now have an Epi ES 335 Pro and I'd say the necks are about the same. The necks are on the fatter side compared with an Epi Sheraton and also my PRS SE CU24 which has a "thin wide" neck. On the other hand they are not as chunky as some Les Pauls I've played. Hope that helps a little. :)

I have a 2010 Dot 335, and I would say fat as compared to my slimtaper Gibson LP from 2011.
    But not extremely fat though.

I had a 2009 left handed Dot that had the same feeling neck as my 04 Les Paul Standard which is a slim 60's.
