    Hi,

I order a new Epiphone Casino, I like this guitar and this one can be played easily unplugged.

    I paid 400 € shipping included. I have 2 questions:

    - Where can I find a cool case, I mean black with purple interior ?

    - I want a tortoise pickguard, is the size correct ?

    Thanks .

An Epiphone or a Gibson case that fits an ES335, Casino or dot will work. The colors will be what they make. Pickguards can be found on E-Bay.

    Hi,

I order an Epiphone Casino, this is the basic model made in China or Korea price is approximatly 400 €uros.

How are pots and switch, is it necessary to upgrade electronics and switch ?

Do you have information about the tuners ?

Can I change the trapeze stopbar? I want to put a Frequensator.

I' ve got a set of HQ P90, do they fit the Epiphone? Distance pole1 to pole6 is 50mm.

And check the big online retailers; Besides the branded cases (for which you pay extra) there are many cases, ranging from servicable to will-survive-your-plane-going-down-in-the-ocean-and-serve-as-a-life-raft, at prices from <$150 to >$1K, available to to fit your guitar. And they have more colors than just the official ones.

But the main thing is - get a case!!!! If it's worth playing & it leaves the house, it deserves a real case. Gigbags are the worst invention since pantyhose; if you want to go that route, just carry your guitar in a gunny sack; you'll get the same protection as a gigbag + Chuck cred

Bridge pickup 52mm pole to pole
    neck 50mm
The original 50s Casinos only used one size pickup

dunno about frequeztor but I had HARMONY tail piece to try and it set thr strings too wide AND was too long to fit as well. I'm thinking the frequensator may fit though. The Epi Riviera or Sheratn uses the Frequensator. Probably has same neck width and size. Check though

BTW the chrome covers require 50/52. The pots are good stuff. Changing them is up to your pref

    Hi Have Fun!

    Congrats on your purchase!

The pots and tuners work just fine on the two recent Casinos (made in 2013 and 2015) I have/had.
The switch was a bit flimsy/rattling on the ´13, but it´s fine on the 2015-model...

    Yes, it´s very simple.
Depending on the "base" of your frequensator-tailpiece, you might even be able to use the existing holes.

The pickups will probably fit the guitar, but not the original pickup-covers, as the neck-pu on the Casino has a narrower spacing (ca. 48 mmm).
The bridge-pu-cover (ca. 50 mm) will probably fit.

    Hello,

I order an Epi Casino, I want to install a set of Lindy Fralin vintage pickups, both are 50mm E-e pole distance.

Do you have a link for a neck cover pickup ?

    Thanks .

    :)

Merged and moved to the correct section

Please don't start a new thread with every new question about the same guitar.

This is the third thread I had to merge and move

    Thanks

Philadelphia Luthier Tools & Supplies is a great online shop but there is only Neck Position Dog Ear cover with a 48mm pole spacing, I need 50mm pole spacing.

Bad points are tuners, P90 pickups, switch and potentiometers. The nut is well made, the height of the strings are OK , rare for a cheap guitar .
