Well, it arrived this afternoon. Came strung with 10's. Construction is quite nice. No noticeable flaws that I could detect. Very beautiful, in fact. I have to say, it sounds awesome through my Bluesbreaker. I took a picture of it in front of my other Marshall, but I'm having trouble with pictures on my phone. Will post when I get that resolved.

Glad you're liking the construction and sound. How's the balance? Any tendency for the neck to pull down? Any chance you can jam a little on it and upload to soundcloud? :thumb:

FYI, I checked with the local GC and they will give the 15% discount on the Coupe with an old gear trade in (I said I had an old OD pedal and they said that would be fine). Looks like you have to do the deal in a store though, not online.

If you lean forward, without your right arm over the guitar, and without your left hand on the neck, there is some neck dive. However, I don't know of anyone who plays like that. :laugh2: Standing upright, the friction against my sweatshirt pretty much keeps it in place. I think it balances quite nicely, and really didn't think of it until you asked. So, it's a non-issue, as far as I'm concerned. It's a lot of fun to play. As far as doing a recording tonight.... I don't think I can swing it. I'm about to eat and go to bed. I woke up at 3 AM for some reason, and I'm pretty beat.

So, before even receiving the Coupe I ordered I'm thinking about replacing the white pickguard :). It had already occurred to me and then I saw a natural Epi ES339 P90 Pro with a black pickguard which I think looks really good. Can anyone recommend a good source for drop in replacements? :hmm:
