Just run across these and, surprisingly, not heard of them before! Seems to be a scaled down body 'a la' ES-339, fully hollow with P-90's. One of my problems with the full bodied ES range is the width of the bodies so I'm guessing this is like the Epiphone 339 without the centre block and humbuckers. Nice fret board markers as well! Anyone played one?

I'm interested in playing a Coupe too, but unfortunately they're not actually available yet. One "plus" of the Coupe over the standard Casino is the neck joins at the 19th fret, so more room at the top of the fretboard. It's not clear yet when they will be in the stores.

It's funny the way you compare the casino coupe to the es339, where as it's so much easier to compare it to the actual casino.

I'm also interested in this one, but I'd like to have the opportunity to compare it with other hollow or semi hollowbodies. Like the 339, the actual casino, the dot, the sheraton....

Does this New "Casino Coupe" make my full size Casino the "Casino Sedan"?
Looks cool. I am interested in trying one out when they become available. I have found a lot of the newer Epi's to be very nicely made and priced well. A lot of the newer Gibsons are not so well made and way overpriced. Glad I have my older Gibsons. They are going nowhere. Does anyone know when these will new available?

Sweetwater is quoting June/July, but these things are hard to predict despite what their rep tells them, factories run funny that way. It'll be a few months for sure, put and order in with instructions to call you before it ships. It won't post to your card, and you can always change your mind at the last minute. Actually, you can change your mind after that too, for 90 days....

Yeah, I'd like that too. If they prove to be popular maybe Epiphone will eventually make a "Black Royale" coupe.

Hmm, not shipping until June 6th - bummer. I was hoping the Andertons date (end of April) would be correct.

I noticed that some websites that had been listing the Casino Coupe have pulled it. AFAICT lamusic.com is the only one that still has it up for pre-order. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? :)

This is noteworthy as it's date 5-1-14

Introducing the Casino Coupe and LP Express

It's also back up at Musicians' Friend with a stated ship date of 6-6-14

I might allow myself to start looking forward to it again :)

The usual sites I check in the UK still have it listed for pre order but no dates. (£349.00 / $588 US / €425).

They do also have the new Left Handers I posted the other day and the Casino has a delivery date of 15th May.
