Hahahaha, ya gotta love ESP. Just three days after my last post in which I provided links to the ESP China website, they have taken it down. In its place "网站建设中,敬请期待..." or in English, "Website under construction, stay tuned" Haven't responded to my latest emails either lololol Maybe all the traffic from this forum overwhelmed the site's capabilities . . .lololol

The only model I found with all mahogany body, neck and ebony fretboard is this one ESP | EDWARDS | E-LP-105CD/P

Anyone as seens some other models ?
I find it hard to believe that the only "real" LPC copy is the cherry option of this model.

Says on that page that it has a maple top.

Edit: but not on the cherry one. I'm a dummy.

Anyone have a recommendation for a hardshell that will fit an Edwards LP? I've heard they don't fit every case you expect they would.

I've actually never had a problem fitting them in any LP-style case.

So current production Edwards are 100% MIJ?

Without a MIJ stamp on the guitar or official confirmation via their website I'll still consider them to be partially MIC - not that it matters considering the quality/price.

Yeah, everything I wrote at the beginning of this thread was true then. Esp was doing the initial manufacture of Edwards in China, but that is no longer the case. The point of manufacture doesn't really matter does it, because the quality remained consistant.
