I’ve done it with two Fender amps using a Roland stereo chorus pedal or Boss stereo chorus. It works great and sounds great but doubles the size of your rig. I️ don’t do it anymore because I️ don’t really use pedals much (hmm, the iPad autocorrect glitch got the beginning of this sentence.).

Yeah honestly it would only be for shit and giggles at home, would be too much for a live situation and the other guitar player in my band would likely kill me

If you have the shekels, pick up a GOOD AB/Y box to do it right. When I tried it, I went with a Radial Twin City, and it was very useful over a regular box.
For me, it ended up being overkill. I tried it with the band and quickly realized getting two amps to good stage volume was a pain.

No, I did started off with a Crush 10 back in the days, but now I just use the cataPulp pedal when I need to get my Orange fix.

I wouldn't want to tote it to a gig, but it sure sounds glorious in the living room. I too used an effects pedal to split it, chorus to one amp, dry to the other. Lordy, but what it sounded good.
