Haha. I think Steve Jones would agree
played it tonight as I always do... was a pretty messed up rendition. I started it and someone whooped and hollered across the street and distracted me.( I was on a patio at a lake bar with cottages around) I looked over and there was a woman in her yard with her hand on her heart.. when I was done an older guy walked up with tears in his eyes. told me he was a veteran and thanked me profusely for playing it. he then told me that was the best song I played all night and the best version of that he had ever heard ( again it was pretty rough, I think it just hit him) asked I could send him a copy of the video my wife took.
Thanks so much for sharing that story. I'd LOVE to see/hear the video myself.
its really bad.....
Never done a rendition in front of an audience. Fooled around with the notes in what, 8th or 9th grade, somewhere around then.
Star Search Syndrome.
That was NOT bad at all. I really really really enjoyed that. Nicely done.
Thank you so very very much
you are being very generous but thank you
Its's like grading tests: i call em like i see em (or in this case, hear em)
