    great sound Frank....love it

I can't decide what the chords are! Going to the dentist now....maybe the Novocaine will help!

It's really just a 1 4 5 repeating in a couple of different keys. Then about the middle it all repeats. Once you find the 1 chord in each section the rest falls into place. At least that's how I heard it.
    Thanks for the compliment.

The turnaround bit there's something I can't get...f#7 or 9? To e9. Ebm7b5? Its maybe one of these things you can play lots of thongs over it and sounds plausible!

I'm not even 100% sure what a minor blues is tbh!
Amaj to a sus4 , then D to D sus4 sounds alright for the main part

Please note the above may be nonsense!

    edit

    Bm(something?) -- F#7 for the turnaround

Just use your ear my friend. Play minor and major penatonics and mix in some major pents and scales. And listen for the key changes.

This track MLP member Zendrive7 and I did a collaboration a few years back. Zen takes the opening clean solo and I take the next driven solo and we switch between us on every key change. He played his Tele and I played a G&L ASAT. He's a great player, wish he'd join in here a bit. I'll have to get on him.

    This is 12 bars :

    Im7 / / /
    IVm7 / Im7 /
    bVImaj7 V7#9 Im7 (stop)

Then it changes key - it starts in B minor, then goes up in semitones. Ie 12 bars in B minor, 12 bars in C minor, 12 bars in C# minor, 12 bars in D minor. Then it goes back to B minor, & starts again.

The minor chords all do this kind if thing : Bm > A/B; Em > D/E etc

    Nice track.

    :)

    Thanks for reply huw.

I eventually got that it was starting in Bmin. Phew

For some reason I was convinced starting in Am pent was working yesterday....although could tell something was off!

I'm currently 1,300 miles away from my guitar, but I'm looking forward to this one. Nice track :thumb:

ZD7 has some bad experiences here and I doubt he'll be back. Great player for sure.

We (the rest of us) were spoiled back in the day at VB when you two played! Thankfully, 50% is still here.
