That looks great! I like that the aging is not overdone... really tasteful and looks legit.

What I really like about the aging is that you didn't mess up the neck! I really don't like the CC's or artist's RI that are aged that have dinged necks. Takes the aging too far, IMO.

I've seen & held Joe's and it's nice. Joe also has a brown one and it has brown Bonnet knobs(too cool). Congrats Mark! Dave does great work too. I've had a couple of guitars he's done. Plus Dave is a really nice guy too. One of the bands I was in for about 15 years, we played up east of Seattle at a Performing Arts Centre & Dave and his son Chase came to see our show. Was great to meet him!

This guitar is now available again and will be listed on my site in a few days. The customer who bought it ,has agreed to buy a vintage Tele that he's been chasing for a while so a few guitars need to get moved. Email or give me a call for details if you're interested before it gets listed.

Definitely a work of art. The new owner is a really lucky guy.

I love the guitar and I loved the story when it was in VG. I've always had a thing for black standards, in about 1978 or 79 I went into Rudy's music on 48th street looking for a Les paul standard and in the case was a brand new Black Lester with full size humbuckers, they told me Gibson just started making them again like this. It had cream plastic and chrome hardware. I think I paid about 550$ with the hard case. I brought it to school and let some kid play it and he scratched the back up with his belt buckle. Broke my heart. Anyway a big helping of Awesome sauce for you guys. Truly a killer axe.
