I was wondering if anyone would know the date of these Grover tuners on my 1956 Gibson Les Paul TV Model. I bought the guitar in 1984 with the tuners already on it. I often wondered how old they are prior to that. If anyone could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
    Thanks

Well I would be guessing - they seem to start around 1958, but I'm not sure how long they produced them for. Maybe into the early 60s?

I'm no Grover expert, but I thought that they only made the milk bottle style back then, and that this style/shape started well past this time period. But as I said, I'm no expert...
