    Taylor luthier for 31 years

Ive handed my studio in to have work done on it twice now, and Ive waited more then a month for each time sense May 3rd 2012.

It would be nice to have some more authorized luthiers as two for the whole state is not very good when one of them teaches students music and does not have enough time to devote to fixing guitars.

Would someone from Gibson please get in touch with Barry, He will make
you proud to have him as an asset.

So, it's his fault there's not more luthiers?

Whiel I haven't needed a tech in years (& Gibsons warranty is void in Canada as well), I've never understood this tendancy for Guitar & electronic techs to stock pile work! One tech in Calgary goes by the name of Jim Mozzel, does great work and he schedules it. So instead of dropping off a guitar for weeks to gather dust, you make an appointment, bring the guitar in and it's never more than the time required to fix it or one day (which ever is more).
I think some techs could learn from this, computers and programs are everywhere and would handle most of the task of scheduling and tracking.
