I was looking at a crews maniac S OSL at ishibashi, they said it has saytone sledge pickups.
    Anyone know anything about those?
Are the nfs the only handwound pickups on the crews?

I did an A/B/C comparison with my Crews KTR LS-01FM, Tokai HLS 160VF, Edwards E-LP 98LTS, and I favor the Crews overall.

    Love this guitar!

I've never played a Crews. I was blown away by the craftsmanship in the pics, and demos I've seen. I think Japanese luthiers have better attention to detail per capita, than some of the big US guitar manufacturers. I've played excellent guitars from all over. You really get that handmade feel from a Tokai or even my old Japanese made Jackson Dinky I used to own. It was a cheapy, but played flawlessly.

Does anyone know the differences between LS-01, LS-02, FM-59R etc? I know that the KTR FM-59R and the other high end models are going to be the most accurate, but the LS01/ LS02 are the ones I'd most likely own, so what are the differences between them?

LS01 has a 59 neck profile and the LS02 has a 58 profile... at least the ones made by Devisor. Very very close to Bacchus classic series but with better pickups and a different feel to the laquer. Mind you these are the "old" ones. I believe that crews just recently moved the production of these two models...I'm guessing to Terada were their other guitars are made. I believe this because the trc and inlays have changed. I have an "old" devisor LS01 and LS02 and both guitars are really nice. The necks are amazing. Pickups are good but if you upgrade them to simething better like bareknuckle etc then you have a guitar at G CS level

Alright. I think I've found the two different truss rods. Compare https://www.digimart.net/cat01/shop169/DS04115028/ and https://www.digimart.net/cat01/shop321/DS04162666/ . Which would you say is the one made by Devisor and which one would be made by Terada, based on the truss rod covers?

Last one is Devisor made. Should be a solid flame top and with upgraded pickups it's a nobrainer. Get it!

Last one looks beautiful. I just bought myself an Edwards LP so unfortunately I can't afford another just yet. Looks like it'd fall JUST over the Australian customs tax threshold, too... I hope someone else from here gets it; looks like a beauty.
