I love stock Greenbacks and Lynchbacks are one of my favorites over the Creambacks.

I found the M65 brighter than the Greenbacks and didn't like them when new. Need breaking time.

The M65 and H75 rock in a 212. I talked to my friend who works at Celestion and also emailed them and they highly recommended the H75 and M65 in a 212. I love it, and no issues with the dB difference. Celestion said don't worry about that but I still prefer Lynchbacks. I am going back to Lynchbacks!

You don't notice a difference with the DB levels when standing in front of either speaker back to back? If you're in the crowd listening to the guitar at a show you probably wouldn't notice the difference but at home using my 212 I find the 3 db difference huge..

No, I never notice a differenc even at home standing in front of the cab. Just sounds like two well paired speakers. What can I tell ya! Celestion, who makes the speakers, agrees with me. :)
Even a guy I know who is a Celestion sales guy, uses that same mix in a 212 and agrees.

However, I may go back to two M65s or two Lynchbacks because I tend to prefer lower dB, softer sounding and feeling speakers.

Hmmm, interesting! Wonder why I notice it so much, maybe somethings defective or maybe my cab design.. Either way, we all hear something different I guess.

Yes, all I can say is that two people at Celestion recommended the M65 and H75 for my 212 including a Celestion employee who giggled rhat pair. I don't notice any difference in any way. Other popular Celestion pairs are Greenback/V30 and V30/T75, with a similar dB difference, and I never noticed an issue with these either.

I'm not a big V30 fan so I put 2 G12h75 and 2 G12t75 in an X pattern in my 412. They compliment each other well.

IMHO, one of the very best 412's on the market is the Bogner Uber Cab..........X pattern 2 x V30's + 2 x G12T75's.

    :cheers2:
