You'll see. It will be available on my site later today or tomorrow.
How come you have your own subforum?
I've lived in Chicago and have been playing for about 35 years. I know most of the guitar dealers and repair people in the region. I've never heard of this shop.
I've been providing custom shop services on a private basis for 18 years and, two years ago, I decided to formally for a business. I don't operate a storefront, and still work by appointment. My facility is located in a loft space in the West Town neighborhood. Now that I have a formal business, the big difference (aside from paying tax) is that I now sell some custom finished guitars on my site and I am a dealer for several parts/accessory companies. The core of my business is still restoration/refinishing/customization for musicians and I am pleased to have had the opportunity to work with so many members of this forum. I've also started marketing, since this has become a full-time gig.
Nice to meet you!
Sponsors now have the option to have their own sub-forum.
Interesting. I'm looking forward to learning more.
Just up and running... check out the shop at windycityguitars.com. Actually, take a look at the whole site. Just redesigned and fine tuning.
The guitars will be the same as the ones I have done for many members and you can check out the threads.
Check out his posts in "custom shop"
He did a cupla repairs for me
Fair and honest
Mr. Beef's work is USDA Prime.
I follow all his threads on this forum. They are my favorite build and finishing threads I've seen here.
If I had a guitar going out for customization or finishing, it'd be headed to the Windy City.
I'm all for supporting a Chicago business, especially when it's guitar related! When I saw the Hawks shirt on one of your videos, I was sold, LMAO! Good luck with the business venture!
Wow... very cool website and work!
