I had this fairly cranked... 1:34 almost made me jump out of my chair.

The whole song made me think of a solid Van Halen song. Not sounding like VH, but in the way VH has excellent rhythm, keeping you foot tapping.

Thanks for posting it! :thumb: :cheers2:

Update: installed the PAF-1 A4 bridge pickup. Totally exceeded expectations. This pickup should be called "Pearly Gates" 'cause that's what it sounds like. Great pickups at a great price. Really happy with my purchase and James' recommendation.

One of the best modern rock albums from start to finish. It gets regular rotation at RWHQ.

In fact, forget my pickups - you guys should buy that album and rock out!

@cooljuk - you're the man and always have been. Thanks for all your support over the years brother, I'm proud to call you a comrade and a friend. :thumb:

@Who - huge thank you for supporting my band and buying our record. I appreciate it tremendously. Hope you dig it!!

The voice at the very beginning is me screaming through a RW bridge humbucker, so they can do vocals too.

Ok - back to the ReWind sale!! Somebody buy those fricken PAF-1s for the love of all that is holy. :run:

...continued (also still available in the sale):

Cool A3 P-90 Soapbar Set ($200 for the set)

    Hot A5 Dogear P-90 Bridge ($100)

    A2/A3 Tele Bridge Pickup ($100)
The jangle of an early plain enamel CBS coil, the thick sustain of A2 magnets on the upper 4 strings, and the piano-like clarity and responsiveness of A3 magnets on the two bottom wound strings. Can be wound with twine and potted to your preferences for no additional cost.

    A3 Tele Neck Pickup ($100)
Perfect pairing for the above Tele bridge, but will compliment, brighten up, clarify and greatly improve any Tele setup that has a dark or plain sounding neck pickup. Again, the jangle of an early plain enamel CBS coil, complimented by the clear, detailed and touch responsive A3 magnets under all 6 strings. The coils and magnets are just a hair taller than a typical Fender design, for added brightness and clarity that many Tele neck pickups lack. Raw nickel, polished nickel, or polished nickel with an open center cover available and included. If you need a gold cover, I can get you one plated but it will add a week and about $15, as I don't normally stock those.

Here's the layout of the magnets in the Tele set:
    E A D G B E

    A3 A3 A3 A3 A3 A3 Neck

    A3 A3 A2 A2 A2 A2 Bridge

I was just coming back to this thread, to show a better color picture of the pickups I bought.

    These are nice pickups, folks.

Maybe people just aren't checking this sub-forum....those should all be sold by now.

    Hey homeys -

Times are tight. Exchange rates suck for many right now. Jobs are hard to come by for some. People are trimming back entertainment budgets and it can be hard as all get-out on the working musician. Some of us have to eat bread sandwiches (if you don't know what a bread sandwich is, consider yourself fortunate) or Ramen too often.

...but I can help you still have a kick-ass sounding guitar, anyway! I have something special for all my MLPeople!

If the half-price pickups in this thread were still out of your price range right now, I know your pain. How about free gear? Free is within everyone's budget and upsets no spouses.

It's summer. It's hot. The screws are tightening down on all of us. Stay cool and feel free with the
REWIND ELECTRIC 2017 SUMMER GEAR GIVEAWAY!!!!

    :cheers2:
