It's also a big recommendation so far as I'm concerned. I've got other fish to fry now, but I'm wanting to replace at least one pickup on my Ibanez.

If you like what he's doing, that gets my ear.

I just found another pickup: It's a double white A2 Low Output PAF v2 neck, with polished nickel screws. ...which means that it's a perfect match for the Low Output PAF v2 bridge already listed.

One of my most popular sets - just one chance here get you a double cream Low Output PAF v2. set for HALF OFF!

Mailman wheeled up today with a special treat.

What do you think is inside?

Oh yeah..... quad-creamy goodness. Sadly, a busy work-week will prevent these from getting installed soon.

No. Sorry. All the coupons I've ever given out have stated that they can't be combined with other deals. ...because I'd be loosing money. I'm not even sure I'm breaking even as it is, on these at half off.

Buy them. Seriously. When you're done, get a Blingmaster and a Bling Fuzz.

The pickups I just took out of this guitar are very good. An APH-1 Seymour bridge, and an MHD A2 custom wound neck. You'll find them for sale in the member classifieds soon.

If the PAFs in this thread are still for sale when I post mine, I will tell people to not buy mine, and come to this thread.

I'm not one of those people who can describe sounds with words. I don't know what "warm" or "tight" or "woody" or any of those other things mean when it comes to sound. I'll leave that to the pros.

Or Fezz. Just go to Fezz when you need a cool description of sounds.

What I can tell you is this.... I like the way my guitar sounds with these pickups. And I've had some good pickups on the way here. These are (of course) worth double what they sell for in this thread.

Buy cooljuk pickups. Even if you're not in the market for pickups. There's a real good chance you own a guitar that will benefit more from this $200 spend, than any other thing you can drop money on.**

Don't let my pic fool you, the "white" you see is "cream", the lighting made it come out funny.

***this statement assumes you already own a Bling pedal. If not, you know what to do.....you know what to do.....

Thank you so much for the attention you gave to my PU-install needs. I'm so excited to get these PUs.

    What a month!

I'm surprised those PAF-1s are still available. ReWinds can cover all kinds of sonic bases.

This is a track from my band's first record that shows ReWinds in a hard rock context - all the guitars on this had ReWinds in 'em.

    Guitar solo is at 3:03:

Someone please buy these. My willpower is weakening. :thumb:

    Thought I'd add my contribution...

I went back and forth on what guitar to put these in, my Precision LP is a funny one that has been tricky to find the right set of pickups, this Epiphone however sounds great with whatever I've put in there. I moved some higher output A2's from this guitar into the Precision trying to chase some tone but I may end up swapping these sets around. I think these would sound great in my 339, but rewiring that thing is a pain.

Anyway, I finally got around to installing these today and they are phenomenal! Like @Who, I am awful at describing tone except to say these have easily jumped into my top 2 or 3 favorite sets I've played. These are EXTREMELY clear and defined, they almost sound like a really fat Strat neck pickup, though that may be because I've spent most of the time through my Princeton.

Either way I agree someone should definitely snatch up the remaining stock, this a fantastic deal that shouldn't be missed. If I hadn't blown my gear budget on pickups in the last month I'd be buying those A3 P90s :yesway:
