Quick question, probably has been covered already but couldn't find it. Are ebony fingerboards now a problem when importing or is it just rosewood? Found some conflicting info on the web..

Not yet as far as I know. I'm guessing ebony will go on the list in 2019 when there will be another CITES meeting. I had a guitar with an ebony fretboard shipped to me in January and there was no problem.

I have had a few RW board guitars shipped from Japan with no issues. I wonder, does it depend on where its coming from and where its going?

There is no problem with shipping internationally when the 'CITES-II' papers are correct
